Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Revenue Development Coordinator (RDC) to join our
team. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Development, the RDC will play a vital role in implementing
the annual revenue plan, focusing on diverse fundraising strategies that support both short and long-
term goals.
The RDC will lead the planning and execution of the annual Regina Gala and co-lead the Provincial
Walk for Alzheimer’s. This role is responsible for managing volunteers and securing sponsorships
related to these events in partnership with the DRD. The RDC will work closely with the Revenue
Development team to steward donors and identify prospects for major and planned gifts, ensuring
sustained support for the Society’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Management: Plan and execute the annual Regina Gala. Co-lead the Provincial Walk for Alzheimer’s. Recruit, train, and manage event volunteers. Manage event logistics, including timelines, budgets, venue coordination, and post-event reporting.
- Sponsorships: Secure sponsorships for events and programs. Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, partners, and corporate sponsors.
- Communications: Collaborate with the Communications team to create and execute communications strategies for events, including social media and digital campaigns. Support the creation of marketing materials and event advertising to drive participation and support.
- Donor Stewardship: Engage in stewardship activities such as thank you cards, receipting, donor recognition, and creating impact reports. Maintain donor records, ensuring high accuracy in data entry and timely recording keeping of donor interactions.
- Planning & Collaboration: Participate in the development of departmental plans, budgets, and new initiatives. Support other society activities as needed and contribute insights for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education and/or 2+ years work experience in the non-profit sector (preferred but
not required).
- Proven success in relationship building and event planning.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead volunteers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems or donor databases is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Saskatchewan as needed.
- Subject to a criminal record check.
