I'm a newcomer to the nonprofit world (and so grateful to be here!)
After spending over 20 years in the sales and marketing industries of various for profit organizations (mostly media sales for TV, Radio and Digital properties) - I took a job as a marketing manager for AAA (the auto club) and then started my own sales and marketing consulting firm: TorchBearer Business Growth Advisors.
In March of 2020 I accepted an offer to become the Director of Financial Development for Apparo - a nonprofit with a mission to improve the operations of other nonprofits in the Charlotte market through the power of technology. Our team provides the technology strategy, tools and training to our brothers and sisters at other NPOs to help them operate more efficiently and effectively and do more good in the world.
