Brian Young joined Tulsa Community College Foundation as Major Gifts Officer in 2024. His work in the nonprofit sector began in 2003, including higher education, human services, workforce development, and international association management. His professional experience spans the fields of development, public relations, marketing, event planning, volunteer management, operations, and program management.
Brian is also an adjunct professor of communication at Tulsa Community College, where he teaches Public Speaking. He enjoys working with students of all ages, but he is especially passionate about helping young people realize their potential. In a previous role, he had the honor of helping teens and young adults develop leadership and teambuilding skills.
Brian lives in rural Oklahoma, where he enjoys quiet time with his furry companions away from the hustle and bustle of his career. Brian proudly serves on the board of directors at Fostering Connections Oklahoma and on the administrative board and communications committee at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in Tulsa.
