Bio

From 2016 to 2021, Abigayle led the North Allegheny Foundation (NAF) as Executive Director, serving 8,500 students and 36,000 alumni. In that role, she quadrupled funds raised, developed North Allegheny's first alumni engagement program, facilitated strategic planning, implemented a comprehensive fundraising program, and established a board of trustees reflective of the North Allegheny community. In addition, her leadership in fundraising at NAF led to exponential growth in all fundraising strategies, including PA Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program, major gifts, annual fund, crowdfunding, and alumni appeals.

Abigayle is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and one of few professionals in the field to also holds a master's degree in nonprofit management from Regis University. Prior to Regis, Abigayle attended the University of Iowa, where she received a bachelor's in social work with an emphasis in juvenile studies and a minor in theater arts. From 2009 to 2018, Abigayle also held the national Grant Professional Certified designation.

Abigayle regularly presents at regional and national conferences, including events hosted by the National School Foundation Association, Association of Pennsylvania Education Foundations (APEF), Erie Nonprofit Partnership, Alpha Phi Omega, Girl Scouts of the USA, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) of Western Pennsylvania. Abigayle is a Faculty Training Academy Master Trainer for AFP and is certified to teach both the Fundraising Fundamentals curriculum and the CFRE review course.

Abigayle served as a vital member of the fundraising team of several organizations, including Cherokee National Historical Society, Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania, and Price Tower Arts Center.  With over twenty years of fundraising experience, Abigayle has raised millions of dollars for a variety of organizational missions and sizes.

As part of her commitment to professional advancement, Abigayle actively participates in the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of AFP. Other volunteer activities include serving as a past national board member and comprehensive campaign leadership committee of Alpha Phi Omega and committee chair of APEF. Abigayle supports the Code of Ethical Principals, Standards of Ethical Practice, and The Donor’s Bill of Rights as published by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
