For the first-time ever, we are launching AFP South Sound's National Philanthropy Day Awards.
A special and unique opportunity to celebrate and recognize individuals in our local AFP South Sound community that are doing exemplary work to help our community be the best it can be. Local AFP chapters across the globe have an annual event on November 15, and we are excited to participate this year.
The goal of our National Philanthropy Day celebration is to highlight the meaningful work of individuals in our region and to shine a light on those who are leading by example in our community.
We are excited to shine a light on this year’s awardees:
- Amazing Unsung Hero – Teri Moore (Moore Philanthropic Services)
- IDEA Champion – Kelly Brickhouse and Tamar Jackson (Workforce Central and Pierce County Community Engagement Taskforce)
- Outstanding Change Maker – Carrie Holden (Boys and Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound)
- GRIT Award – Dr. Kimberly Keith (Hilltop Artists)
- Heart of Gold – Jill Rose (Amara)
