We are a local network of fundraising professionals covering all facets of nonprofit development. Our mission is to empower and uplift our development colleagues and the nonprofit organizations they serve through education and networking. We provide a sense of community and support for our colleagues throughout the greater Los Angeles area through inclusive and diverse programming.
AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter members serve in various roles including as development directors, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, foundation executives, communication managers, and more.
The AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter hosts virtual and in-person events on topics relevant to our everyday work. We offer a blend of networking and educational opportunities through our local area webinars, meet-ups, roundtables, seasoned leader series, emerging leader sessions, and National Philanthropy Day® awards & celebration. All of our education programs are submitted to CFRE International for Educational CEs. Use the CFRE Trackers to keep track of your event attendance for certification and re-certification.
