Who we are?

For over 60 years, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) has been the standard-bearer for professionalism in the field of fundraising. Serving one of the most diverse communities in the nation, the AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter (AFP-GLAC) is the leading community of fundraisers supporting the sustainability of all types of nonprofit organizations throughout Los Angeles – from social services to arts, higher education to health care, animal welfare to environmentalism. We are committed to providing quality professional development and education, positive member experiences, enhanced networking opportunities. We value and foster belonging, and represent the fundraising profession and nonprofit sector throughout the region. 

AFP Greater Los Angeles Chapter members serve as development and foundation executives, fundraising consultants, grant writers, volunteer fundraisers, prospect researchers, and other individuals dedicated to fundraising and philanthropy. Our website averages 725 hits a day and our eNewsletter circulates to 2300 people monthly. We are also connected to the largest network of fundraising professionals globally, with 30,000 members throughout 240 chapters.

Partners in Philanthropy (PIP)
