My name is Amy Bettis. I have been a passionate lover of the outdoors and an advocate of the Scouting program seeing my 2 sons grow from little Cub Scouts to Eagle Scouts. After 30 years in marketing and management with a local printing company and over 20 years as a dedicated Scouting volunteer and youth leader I was able to pursue my dream job as a Scouting professional. My background in graphic design, project management, copywriting, program development, and grant writing has prepared me to take on the challenge of becoming a professional fundraiser.
In addition to my work with Scouting America, I proudly serve as Communications Chair for the AFP Upper Mississippi Valley Chapter and as President-Elect for 2025. These roles have deepened my appreciation for the fundraising profession and the importance of leadership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Throughout my career, I’ve contributed to numerous volunteer fundraising efforts for Scouting, Aquinas Catholic Schools, and the Children’s Miracle Network. These experiences fuel my passion for connecting with people, sharing meaningful stories, and working toward common goals.
