The RMPI annual conference will be on Friday, September 18, 2026, at UCAR in Boulder!
Rocky Mountain Philanthropy Institute (RMPI) is AFP Colorado Chapter’s annual fall conference dedicated to bringing
Colorado Fundraising Professionals and nonprofit leaders and learners together to grow, network, and rejuvenate. RMPI 2026 will
be an action-packed conference filled with professional development and networking.
The event will take place on September 18, at UCAR in Boulder and includes a keynote speaker and breakfast, multiple
education sessions, a networking lunch, and happy hour.
This year's theme is "Creating Community with Courage and Collective Action".
In current times marked by rapid change, fundraising professionals are not only resource developers – we are also community builders.
Every day, we cultivate trust, convene diverse collaborators, and create spaces where shared purpose can emerge. This year’s theme
invites attendees to examine how courage shows up in our work: in ethical decision-making, honest conversations with donors, and
standing firm in organizational values. It also challenges us to consider how philanthropic participation moves beyond transactional
fundraising toward collective action – aligning donors, staff, volunteers, and communities around human-serving, mission-driven goals.
