Maximizing Your Pipeline Through P2P/DIY Events

When:  Feb 26, 2024 from 06:00 PM to 07:30 PM (ET)
Associated with  AFP NY, Long Island

Are you taking advantage of your peer to peer pipeline? Are you able to identify a major gift prospect from a fundraising event? Is your next million dollar P2P event champion sitting in a Major Gift portfolio?

This session will take a look at opportunities and challenges from the lens of Peer to Peer and Major Giving team members. We will cover what makes a donor most valuable to your institution: fundraising through a P2P event or individual giving? To answer that question, we have to look at each donor as an individual, identify their intention, evaluate their indicators, and plan their activation. Join us on the journey to successful blended giving.

Meet Our Speakers:

Pamela Mohr is an experienced fundraising professional, with a demonstrated history of cultivating and stewarding major donors and grateful patients in the hospital & health care industry. Currently, she serves as the senior director of development for Northwell Health’s Huntington Hospital, where she was responsible for closing the largest seven-figure gift in the hospital’s history and changing the philanthropic landscape of the community.  Prior to joining Northwell in 2019, Pamela spent seven years as the executive director of FACES (Finding A Cure For Epilepsy & Seizures) at NYU Langone Health. Before her successful tenure at Langone, Pamela held numerous fundraising positions at the American Cancer Society, where she worked for eleven years. Pamela shifted her career focus from 2000-2005, when she took a corporate position as event marketing manager for Ernst & Young. In that role, one of her primary responsibilities included planning their signature global marketing event, Entrepreneur of the Year.

Pamela serves on the Long Island board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is the proud mother of her 5th grade son, Drew.
