It is my privilege as the Chair of the nominating committee to invite you to participate actively in the Board of AFPLI’s nominating process.
As a member of AFPLI, I hope you consider your participation an investment in your professional future. AFP has a longstanding history on Long Island as being “the voice of philanthropy,” and you are one of those voices. Your personal engagement in identifying outstanding candidates is essential to our future success and will guarantee that the board continues to be representative of the finest leaders in the profession.

Evaluation criteria used by the committee to select members include experience and expertise in fundraising; volunteer service to philanthropy and the fundraising community; experience and/or employment in the profession or in an industry sector that serves philanthropy and/or fundraising; leadership skills; and advocacy for diversity and inclusion within the fundraising profession and the philanthropy community.
