Learn how Ben Maltz of Northwell Health and Jim Sheridan of Catholic Health Services grew startup CFR programs into multi-million dollar revenue channels in 24 months. They will share their experiences and strategies for building strategic relationships with some of America’s largest corporations and foundations.

Are you interested in diversifying your fundraising program away from special events and direct mail appeals? Are you interested in applying for grants that directly fund your organization’s programs? Then our “Starting a Corporate and Foundation Relations Department on a Budget” educational session might be right for you.

This session will focus on helping smaller nonprofits build their own CFR program on a limited budget. The program will provide insights on evaluating whether making an investment in Corporate and Foundation Relations is right for you, the most effective way to develop compelling grant proposals, and how to identify funding opportunities on Long Island.

The session will examine the startup phase of a new CFR program and what is important to focus on in the first 12-24 months.
