Jake Detels
Founder, Donor Facts

Jake Detels is the founder of Donor Facts, an AI-powered prospect research platform that produces comprehensive donor profiles — including wealth indicators, giving history, real estate holdings, spouse & family research, and AI-generated solicitation strategies.

Before building Donor Facts, Jake spent five years in nonprofit fundraising at Fuller Theological Seminary and the University of Southern California, followed by 12 years in enterprise technology — progressing from Digital Optimization Strategist to Director of Technical Product Management, managing teams of 70+ engineers across TouchCommerce, Nuance Communications, and Microsoft. He returned to the nonprofit sector to solve the problem he experienced firsthand as a frontline fundraiser: Thorough prospect research takes hours per donor, and there's never enough time to go deep on every donor in the portfolio.

Jake holds an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.
