2026 National Philanthropy Day Celebration
Nominations for the top two 2026 National Philanthropy Day Awards are now open!
We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for the top two awards of our 2026 National Philanthropy Day Celebration, marking the 25th Anniversary of National Philanthropy Day in our community.
National Philanthropy Day is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the outstanding individuals, organizations, and community leaders whose generosity, dedication, and commitment make a lasting impact. As we prepare to celebrate this milestone anniversary in November 2026, we invite you to help us honour those who inspire philanthropy and strengthen our communities.
We are currently accepting nominations for top Two honours:
🏆 Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year
This award honours an individual or family whose generosity, leadership, and long-term commitment have created meaningful, lasting impact in South Saskatchewan. It recognizes transformational giving and a deep dedication to strengthening our community.
🏆 25th Anniversary Impact Award (New for 2026)
Introduced for our milestone year, this award celebrates an individual, family, or organization whose sustained contributions have shaped the philanthropic landscape over decades. It is intended to honour legacy-level impact and exceptional community stewardship.
This year's celebration will be especially meaningful as we commemorate 25 years of recognizing philanthropy, generosity, and community impact through National Philanthropy Day.
Nomination Deadline: June 30th, 2026
All nominees submitted for these top categories will automatically be eligible for consideration in our remaining award categories if they are not selected. Once voting for the top awards is complete, nominations will open for the full slate of categories:
• Outstanding Volunteer of the Year
• Outstanding Youth Philanthropist
• Outstanding Community Group
• Outstanding Corporate Changemaker Award
• Outstanding Legacy Philanthropist
