Daphne Keys, much to her surprise fell in love with fundraising over 20 years ago and began attending training classes to learn more. She advanced in her career making a significant impact in the community, locally and globally. Eventually earning her CFRE in 2019 for the first time. She often shares her view that "Every time someone writes a check, it's like seeing one of God's miracles and I get to be a small part of it." Daphne has successfully met and/or exceeded funding goals for several organizations by partnering with foundations, corporations, and individual donors. Currently, she consults and supports organizations in transition or in a large campaign, focusing largely on writing proposals and recruiting support from all sources, including foundations. She lives in Daytona Beach with her husband and two well-loved dogs but visits the grandchildren in Washington state regularly.
