Quinton Jefferson, a native of the Greater Cincinnati area, is the Research and Grant Administrator for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He enjoys discovering funding streams that sustain the Orchestra’s work of bringing music to inspire all individuals and actively looks for resources to improve his knowledge in Fundraising and Prospect Research. As a talented individual on the Philanthropy Team, Quinton has helped secure and report on funding from private and government grants for multiple aspects of the Orchestra’s work and has completed necessary coursework at Xavier University in the completion of his doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership. He holds advanced degrees in Education and Theology as well. As an educator with 15 years’ experience, his belief that education for the sake of education is of utmost importance. Quinton is inspired by traveling both domestically and internationally. His most recent journey took him to Boston where he attended a performance of the Pulitzer-Prize-winning opera, Omar. In his free time, Quinton participates in artistic and/or spiritual events.
