Nina Wilson Jones develops and directs the comprehensive fundraising initiatives that generate additional funding streams for Community Legal Services, the largest non-profit legal aid law firm in Florida, serving twelve counties in Central Florida. She previously held senior leadership roles at Girl Scouts of Citrus Council and Central Florida Presbytery in Orlando, and Bank of America, Texas Southern University, TSU Foundation, the Fountain of Praise Church, Open Door Mission Houston, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston, and a Brand Ambassador role at Saks Fifth Avenue in Houston, TX. She has also led faith-based organizations to improved performance and resource development success. Several articles she authored were published.
Nina has provided strategic leadership expertise to many community groups and professional organizations over the years, including the Houston Urban Bankers Association, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Houston Ebony Opera Society, Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, and the Metamorphosis Women’s Empowerment Conference. In addition to The New Directions Center, Nina has helped establish three non-profit organizations, two non-denominational churches, and served as team leader for foreign mission trips to Brazil and Tanzania. She has also been an Advisory Board member of Addition Financial Credit Union.
