America has been at peace less than 20 years since our founding. Our military men and women are willing to go to war and "give their all" for us. It is incumbent on us citizens to take care of them.
Do I agree with war - no. Coming from a multi-generation family of veterans, I have seen first-hand the impact on the family of military service. The moral and spiritual injuries are most often mis-diagnosed as PTSd, because the VA healthcare system is not allowed to use faith-based practices to help them heal.
They have earned the right to our care. They deserve it. This is our "WHY".
