I believe strongly in the importance of connecting individuals with the community resources they need to receive high‑quality healthcare wherever they call home. The Visiting Nurse Association of Johnson County and Iowa City Hospice ensure that people of all ages have access to compassionate, home‑based care, from birth through the end of life.
For the past 17 years, I have had the privilege of serving the Visiting Nurse Association of Johnson County, and in 2022 I expanded my work to include Iowa City Hospice.
My primary focus is Development and Fundraising, where I am dedicated to generating the revenue necessary to ensure all community members can access our services, regardless of their circumstances. I oversee our major fundraising events throughout the year, in addition to managing the full processing of donations received both online and through the mail.
I am an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Eastern Iowa Chapter and am currently pursuing my CFRE Professional Certification. I look forward to continuing my leadership journey and furthering the mission of both organizations.
