About Our Chapter

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents 25,000 members in 165 chapters in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education, and certification programs.

The Greater Baton Rouge Chapter of AFP advances and inspires philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice ethical and effective fundraising. AFP is a network of professionals inspiring the philanthropic spirit in our community.

Meetings
The Baton Rouge Chapter meets the second Tuesday of each month at Juban's Restaurant in Baton Rouge. Networking takes place from 11:30-11:45 a.m. Our luncheon program begins at 11:45 a.m. Contact us to be added to the email list!

Dues and Luncheon Fees
Chapter dues are $50 and are paid online through the AFP national website. Luncheon fees are $35 for members, $40 for first guest visit, and $50 for each visit after. Guests are invited to attend up to three chapter luncheons before joining the chapter. Luncheon reservations are made online. Please see our Chapter's Calendar for registration information. An RSVP is required with entrée selection by the previous Thursday by 7:00pm. Walk-ins fee is $50.00.

Schedule
There is no meeting in July. The annual Diversity Summit occurs during July. There is also no meeting in November as our annual National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon is held in November.
