CHAPTER JOB POSTING CRITERIA 

We would love to share your professional development opportunity with our membership and help to find your next outstanding development professional!

Organizations may utilize the AFP website for a 90-day job posting upon receipt of the  following information and a check payable to

AFP GBR, Attention: Treasurer
Post Office Box 87504
Baton Rouge, LA 70879.

Payment may also be made  online.  
Our rate for job postings are $50.00. 

Please note that Baton Rouge Chapter Administrator does not maintain information about status of listings nor will the chapter forward resumes. 

To post a job, please email the posting as a PDF file to afpbatonrouge@gmail.com. Specific content requirements for the posting of a job opening include: (1) organization name; (2) title of position, (3) name of contact person with phone and email, (4) concise PDF of complete job description, (5) your URL to job description online, and (6) salary range.   Members  only may also make a brief announcement at one monthly meeting. 

This information, exactly as submitted via email to  afpbatonrouge@gmail.com,  will appear in: 

  • one scheduled monthly newsletter if received prior to the 25th of each month; 
  • one announcement at a regular luncheon meeting (members only); 
  • one posting on the AFP-GBR Chapter website for a period of 90 days, with one additional 30 day period upon request.    

 

AFP Baton Rouge is committed to advancing IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access). In keeping with this priority, which must include promoting gender and racial pay equity in the field of fundraising, the Board of Directors has instituted a policy that all job postings on the AFP Baton Rouge website must include a salary range to be published.

This policy is precedented by AFP Global and many other chapters.  Any job descriptions submitted without salary ranges will not be posted.
