AFP ICON - CHAMBERLAIN SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS OPEN NOW!

AFP’s International Conference on Fundraising, AFP ICON, attracts more than 3,000 individuals and features more than 150 educational sessions on every aspect of philanthropy.

The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy is proud to offer the Chamberlain Scholarship Program for AFP ICON (registration only). This program is designed to help individuals serving nonprofit organizations develop their knowledge and skills in fundraising. Chamberlain guidelines stipulate that the scholar be a first-time attendee, having never attended an AFP ICON or NSFRE International Conference.

The Chamberlain Scholarship Program honors Ralph Chamberlain, CFRE, a long-time fundraiser and supporter of AFP. Mr. Chamberlain helped to form one of the organization’s first chapters, the Greater New York Chapter, and served as both chair of the association and the foundation. Because of his long-time support of the Foundation for Philanthropy, the AFP Board of Directors renamed the Conference Scholar Program in 2000 to honor Mr. Chamberlain’s memory and commitment to the fundraising profession.

AFP Monterey Bay will reimburse travel expenses up to $1,500. Copies of all receipts must be provided with the reimbursement request. Any expenses above $1,500 are not included, and must be paid by the Employer.

AFP Monterey Bay welcomes any member who has not attended an AFP or NSFRE International Conference to submit the Chamberlain Scholarship application.

Please email any questions to afpmontereybay@gmail.com and add "Chamberlain Scholarship Question" in the subject line for a quicker response.
