Mission Statement: The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Eastern Iowa, is a chapter of AFP Global, a member-based group that empowers individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, support, and networking.
Vision Statement: The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Eastern Iowa Chapter, will be the recognized leader in the promotion of philanthropy by empowering fundraisers to serve their communities and providing the highest quality services and benefits for our members and other constituents.
AFP Eastern Iowa Chapter Policies and Strategic Plan
The AFP Eastern Iowa Chapter Policies document has been approved by the board. You may view the document here. The policies document is based on approximately one year of significant volunteer efforts to follow the AFP International model policies and provide a baseline for future operations.
The Chapter is currently working with a two-year strategic plan that will be complete in December 2020.
