Are you considering becoming a member of AFP but not sure if it would save money? Here are ways you’ll save.
Monthly trainings cost less for members. A member paying the early-bird discount saves $25 a month over someone who isn’t a member or an early-bird. Trainings are only $30 for early-bird members. Not sure if you’ll be interested in every monthly training? Check the list at https://community.afpglobal.org/afpsbv/events/chapter. Topics include raising more money through monthly giving and a funders panel to learn what significant local funders are seeking.
Planning to go to Symposium, our all-day training? It will be held June 17 at Westmont College. While attendance fees haven’t been set yet, members last year saved $25 over non-members.
There are lots of other ways to save money as an AFP member: $15 off the annual holiday party, $75 off job postings, $175 off the CFRE exam, $400 off the AFP ICON conference, $100 off the Fundamentals of Fundraising course, and more.
Feel intimidated by costs? Our chapter has scholarships! Check out the list at https://community.afpglobal.org/afpsbv/career/scholarships.
Still unsure if you’d like to become an AFP member? Check out our benefits at https://afpglobal.org/benefits-resources, or contact me at katherine@werth-it.com and we can discuss if AFP membership is right for you. We hope you’ll join us!
