In the field of fundraising, we are adept at building authentic relationships with donors. However, aside from the touch points of research, submission of grant proposals, and the report, very little is focused on developing relationships with funders such as community foundations. Given that community foundations partner with nonprofits to advance social causes through generous investments, building relationships should be a standard inclusion within a development plan.
AFPNEO is proud to bring together a panel of Northeast Ohio leaders to discuss how to build strong relationships with community foundations:
