Sponsorship
The sponsorship committee is responsible for the development and execution of the AFPLR sponsorship program. Our goal is to cultivate and foster meaningful relationships with generous community partners to ensure sustainable funding for our chapter. We love working with like-minded businesses and donors to strengthen the fundraising profession and create a network where fundraising professionals can share, learn and grow.

Communications
The AFP London & Region Communications Committee promotes and aids the development and delivery of internal and external communication strategies and vehicles for the Chapter. This includes all communication plans, social media channels, website operations, newsletters and email messaging.

National Philanthropy Day
The AFP is the founder of the movement to celebrate philanthropy through an official day across the globe to recognize donors, volunteers, foundations, companies and others who have engaged in philanthropy. Since 1986, philanthropy has largely been celebrated through events that take place in November every year.
The group of volunteers working on the National Philanthropy Day for the London & Region Chapter are working to publicize and organize a celebration for November in this region. The main activities of the group are getting the word out, obtaining sponsorships, promoting opportunities to nominate outstanding candidates for the awards, organizing the logistics including the awards process itself and publicity for this day of celebration.
