Mike Goeke, J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation
Mike is the Executive Director of the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation in Midland, Texas. The Mabee Foundation was begun in 1948 and primarily works to help non-profit organizations build or renovate buildings. Since its founding, the Mabee Foundation has made grants totaling over $1.2 billion. Prior to assuming his current position with the Mabee Foundation, Mike practiced law for about 10 years and spent 18 years in full-time vocational ministry, both in Midland, TX, (Stonegate Fellowship) and San Francisco, CA, (First Baptist Church of San Francisco). Mike has a B.B.A. in finance from Baylor University and a J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law. He is married to Stephanie and they have three children.
Randy Vance, The Sunderland Foundation
Randy Vance serves as president and chief operating officer of The Sunderland Foundation, a $1.4 billion private foundation founded in 1945. Vance joined the foundation in 2019 and is responsible for executing strategies determined by the foundation board of trustees and overseeing the day-to-day operations and staff. The foundation makes grants to charitable organizations for construction-related projects in communities where Ash Grove Cement Company historically operated. Areas of interest include higher education, youth serving agencies, health facilities, affordable housing, and civic and cultural initiatives. During 2019, the foundation made over $150 million in grants to over 250 organizations.
Shekinah Pepper, USDA
Mr. Pepper has worked for the U.S. Government for the past 18 years. Initially with Department of Army, Corps of Engineers and His last 7 year he has been with Department of Agricultures, Rural Utility Services Telecom Division serving as the Kansas, and Alaska General Field Representative. During his time with RUS he has served roles as the GFR Branch 1 and 2 supervisor, the Maine and Oklahoma GFR, Broadband Application Assistance Team member, and on the RUS Field Advisory Committee.
