AFPKC offers several scholarships to support professional development for fundraising professionals.

Mid-America Conference on Fundraising Scholarships

The Mid-America Conference on Fundraising takes place each spring in locations around the Midwest. In 2022, the event will be held in Kansas City.  Mark your calendar for September 18-20, 2022. Each year, AFPKC offers two scholarships for two members to cover the registration cost of the conference. Application available in the spring of 2022.

CFRE Scholarship

AFPKC offers partial scholarships for members to offset the cost of applying for the CFRE. Click here for more information or to complete an application.



 

General Membership Scholarships
AFPKC offers a scholarship to cover the $70 chapter dues for new members. The opportunity is designed for students interested in the nonprofit sector, newly employed and job-seeking fundraising professionals, as well as professionals working for a small nonprofit.
To get started, complete the AFPKC New Member Scholarship Applicationand submit by September 30, 2021.

 


AFPKC Diversity Scholarship

Diversity and inclusion are important to AFPKC. This scholarship covers the membership dues for an individual who either self-identifies as being from a diverse community or represents an organization serving a diverse community. Eligible diverse communities are defined by AFP Global and include African-American, Asian, People with Disabilities, Faith-based, LGBTQ, Hispanic, Jewish, Rural or another underrepresented community. The application is now open!  Submit yours by September 30, 2021.
