In her current role as Chief Philanthropy Officer, Blubaugh leads the organization’s overall fundraising and revenue strategies including United Way’s metro-wide annual campaign, manage strategic corporate partnerships, and leading the development team.

Cleveland University - Kansas City
Jessica Ramirez, a native of Kansas City, is a senior professional with over 25+ years of not-for-profit and executive leadership experience in in providing fundraising, special event planning, grant writing, board development and campaign management. Currently, Ms. Ramirez is the Vice President of Advancement at Cleveland University-Kansas City.
Terri Barnes
The Nia Project
An advocate for black girls and women, Terri is the Founder and President of The Nia Project. The Nia Project advocates for, celebrates, invests and reimagines possibilities for black girls and women. For more than 15 years, Terri served as Co-Founder and President of Trace’s Place – A Community Resource for Girls and Women, an organization that focused on mentoring and personal development. She served 12 years as President and served for more than 22 years as a volunteer at the W.E.B. DuBois Learning Center.

Mary Messner is a professional speaker, advocate for women and girls, mother, and wife (not necessarily in that order). She has dedicated her career to approaching challenges with creativity, refusing to accept the status quo, and leading with a determination to grow others.
While off the stage, Mary spends her time as the Executive Director for Madam President Camp, a non-profit youth organization designed to inspire girls to use their voice to become leaders in their communities now and in the future.
